Did you burn a Bible or dance on an Indian burial ground?

Haha something like that

Well got my email tunes from mpt today but the sct computer program wouldn't recognize my tuner on my computer(windows 8) so my buddy is gonna try to download them on his computer(windows 7)

Edit: they're on my tuner now. Just gotta make time to go pick it up

Let us know how those MPT tunes are.

garner 02-09-2014 02:18 AM

Will do. If they're anything like the tunes on my buddy's ecoboost f150 I'll be happy!

After all the bad luck I've been having, I'm thinking of picking up an old fox body or sn95 5.0

First reaction of the tunes are the throttle is super sensitive now. Almost like an on/off switch. Hopefully I'll get used to it(only driven about 10 miles) and the shifts don't feel much different than stock(their the street setting which is 2 steps above stock)

Also I need to gain some weight lol. Sat in my buddy's fx1 pro and still had some room to move around, also they lean too far back for me. I'd need like a 80 degree seat back instead of the 71

First trip to the track with tune, only netted a best of 12.8@111, so basically the same time as without a tune

Non tune on the left, tune on the right

Wow id expect more with a tune.

garner 02-17-2014 08:02 PM

Me too, but it's just a baseline one so it'll get revised and hopefully faster

I'm sure tire size change had something to do with it also. Along with more fuel in the car

Updated pic now that I have the wheels fully stripped of the black paint

Also gonna be ordering the running pony to replace the 3.7 badges. And the guy who did the work fixing the stang this second time is going to help me redo the plastic part of the faux gas cap so that it's smooth. Haven't decided if I wanna fill in the ford part or not

DirtyD 03-10-2014 09:39 AM

The running pony will be a much better choise than the 3.7 badges.

re-rx7 03-10-2014 10:26 AM

Who put on the badges? Ray Charles?

I was about to say the same thing. I felt the 3.7's were similar to guys running Cobra/Shelby badges on non-specialty cars. This is just my opinion though, so no offense should be taken to that. Good choice on the running pony though, the Tri-Bar is my favorite emblem for the Mustang's. I have the black plastic 5.0's on my car, but I will be switching to a billet set that hopefully won't discolor.

I thought it was just the photo playing with my mind.

garner 03-10-2014 07:41 PM

Lol yes Ray Charles put the badges on

I've had a few people tell me when they see the 3.7, they automatically figure a 5.0 trying to be sneaky. So hopefully the tri bar will let me blend in a little better
