It just uses my key. . That's pretty frigging smart.. Ford puts a lot of forward thought into how people are going to mod these cars, is it true if you are running a tune the "track key" over rides it?

I have the Ford Racing tune, and assumed the Track Key would allow the FR tune to run when the "regular" key was used and the Track Key tune when the Track Key was used...

Nope, using the Track Key bumps you back to the stock tune when you aren't using the Track Key (according to Ford Racing).

Kinda silly...

Well if this is true... what happens if I program a my key? Can I load a different tune on their for let's say my wife?? Less timing.. more traction control??

I have the TracKey installed on my Boss. However, I don't use it anymore. It was cool for the Lopey Idle and the engine bracking was a lot of fun, etc..

However, I don't use anymore. I went with AED tunes with Airaid CAI. Shaun's Lopey is much more aggressive than the TracKey. Plus his performance tunes actually get more HP from your engine.

The only thing I miss is the Launch Control. Worked great;

I wouldn't waste my money on the TracKey. (although having a factory backed tune that won't mess up your warranty may be better for some).

I just called the number to see when they will have more in and the guy said they have not been released to the public yet. Says they expect it to be anyday now...Does that sound right? I thought they would be out by now considering the 2015's are about to hit the ground
