Just picked a new door handles and positive battery cable. Will be buying a new rear window motor for my vert since it just went out. I know I'm a big spender

DirtyD 01-10-2014 01:59 PM

Picked up a set of slotted zinc coated rotors from brakeperformance.com. Now just need some pads.

Picked up the last requirement to run the Texas Mile. Here is to hopefully signing up in time to run it. Going for 175+ MPH if I make the cut.

DirtyD 01-19-2014 12:22 AM

Picked up this daily beater for the Stang to keep the BS miles off. Also opens the door for some more serious modding if I decide to go that route. 35.5 avg combined mileage, car practically pays for itself.

garner 01-25-2014 01:15 AM

Ordered a tuner for it. Really want the livewire but settled for sf3

Stangmaster281 01-25-2014 01:39 AM

143hp, 1.8 liters, 16 valves of i-vtec power for my ass. Keeping that bad boy stock. The stang on the other hand could be going FI, no 2015 mustang for me.

After seeing what aero can do to a car, I went ahead a jumped on a front splitter for my car. I went with the Stillen one, as with some simple mods it can be quite stout. This guy on SVTP had his for sale and I saw what he did, replacing the turnbuckles that came with the splitter for Longarce ones bolting them into the frame of the car for high speed stability.

Link to a built reference.

Basically copying him, so hopefully everything turns put well. All of this will cost me $360 versus over $1K for the Boss 302 LS one.

[Update]
Stillen Splitter: $294
Longacre Turnbuckles: $56
Longacre Backplates: $18
Total: $368
Boss 302 LS Kit: $1435 on American Muscle

Coming up soon I will have track apps in a base car. :)

blownaltered 03-26-2014 07:08 PM

Had Beau smooth and paint the trunk lid on the fox. Before that I had True Street do some suspension mods and an evap system on the motor. Next is a new damn window motor because mine is broke.

Dang it Garner. lol

But in all reality, it may start to become harder than first thought. Ford is catching on to what is happening and is now not accepting any cores in return if they are the incorrect cluster. So I would be stuck paying as much as $600+ for a gauge cluster being I wouldn't get my core charge back.

Going to be a while before they are on the car. Have to wait on them to get here then for me to save up money for tires.

Yep 20x10 in all 4 corners. Will prolly have to run a small 2mm spacer up front but should look sick with 305s all around

Grandpa 03-30-2014 10:00 AM
