Long term with E10 yes but not long term with E85 is what I was told. The first thing Ford Racing and the Ford engineering dept told me after working with them on the development of my car was to change the lines if I was running E85 long term. As a supplement race fuel for the track it wont hurt but if its sitting in the lines they told me it will damage them. I also know of alot of guys running E85 in stock lines with no issues. So this is a personal call to me. True Street made custom stainless braided lines for my car to work with the new fuel system so I never tested it. It also could have been Ford just covering their ass on working with me for developing my goals.

If your going to upgrade I know Shaun recommends ID injectors for the quality and the ease of tuning. My car on ID1000s idles and drives just like stock.

6, I dont plan on running E85 long term as of now, I may drive on it for the next month but I am going to be driving to gulfport MS for school in Jan so I dont want to try and drive that far on E85. Ill keep the tuner with me in case i do want to hit the track up on the E. Come may my car is going to be parked and driven maybe once a week for a year.

Thats my plan after this build finishes. Run low boost off the wastegate on 93 for one tune (the daily driver/ street tune) and then an E85 tune for mid boost and one more E85 tune for max boost. I was filling up twice a week running E85 all the time. It was crazy fun with the power but the whole car smelled like E85 in traffic so bad I had to roll down the windows.

so far i like the smell, that and I think it intimidates people when driving since it is pretty noticeable. couple more hours and im track bound! cant wait.
