Westway just like any other dealer has their ups and downs, they all mean well. And let's face it, no one knows your ford better than the techs at the dealership, so your paying for the knowledge. And the techs in the shop who are the backbone to the dealership don't get paid nearly enough for the b.s that we deal with day in and out.

From working at a Ford dealership for 5 years I can only partially agree with this. "They all mean well," only if it means money. "No one knows your Ford better than the techs," only if the techs actually do their jobs and train on a regular basis. They have more access to tools to learn from but I know dozens of people who know their vehicles better than a dealer. Now I do completely agree with your last statement, the techs don't get nearly enough credit/pay. The glory seems to go to the crooked ass sales people. Of course all of this depends on management too, I've been through a few GM's and service managers, some were good, some were bad.

I hear you on that. Very valid points.

I asked the shop foreman who has been there 10+ years, the name doesn't ring a bell. Possibly in sales?

DirtyD 06-06-2013 10:10 AM

What would make it better is if you were actually pronouncing it correctly to the manager.

Fuck that shit. I took the car there because I needed a simple oil change and I was passing through Irving at the time. When I take it to Grapevine Ford I don't get raped.

I hope they enjoy the $35 because if that's all it cost me to know Westway Ford is run by lowlifes, I got out cheap.

Welcome to the board!

Pictures taken last month when I got her. Since then have done 3.55 gears, magnaflow axleback, black 5.0 badges and boss strut tower brace and Steeda CIA and BAMA tune will be here next week!. Have no recent photos of the car as it is right now but will in the future. Want to get it lowered and on wheels and will post new pictures.

Very nice!!!

Nah.. but I did however get the vents in the hood and rear wing painted black. And hopefully in the next month I will have it on wheels and lowered, just not sure what lowering kit I want. I like the FRPP 1.5 drop but the eibah sport lines sounding good too

Seems like I read somewhere that they are the same.

That's be the first I've heard that. That pic that I posted in my intro was when the car was brand new. didn't even have 200 miles on it. My picture that's in my sig now is the most recent with all current mods on it. I'm looking to do wheels/tires/ and aluminum driveshaft next.
