Well at least he drove away. I always thought racing was like immediate arrest but I guess it really depends on the mood/discretion of the officer.

Was a good race set up, but the owner of the vett said he couldnt get a good line up, but when they took off they flew past the cop who was parked while there was another one following them. Vett owner said he went into fourth and said he had to of been about 140mph.. viper couple cars ahead of him lol. 160ish? Cop claimed 122 I believe in a 70 and like rebel mentioned several warnings..

Yea from the video the vette guy has the viper was 2 cars ahead of vette then took off so it was a dead race from beginning but in video you see cop sitting on the shoulder as they did a 3 wide fly by

122 in a 70 and Impeding Speed is what he got. Could have been much worse. The cop was cool to him. He will be fine, just get a good traffic lawyer.

Phuck Phace 07-27-2013 02:45 PM

Doesnt do shit when they are not using one. I pace cars with radar detectors all the time. I dont have to use a radar to get you for speed.

Sounds like someone got very lucky racing is a class B and they can seize your car.

They seem too hit or miss for me. The possibility of a ticket is the risk I take if I'm horsing around or speeding.
