So since everyone is hopefully filing or already have files your taxes this year, what are your plans to do with the money?

Only feel free to share of your comfortable, and only disclose your return if you feel like it as well.

Up for me are a vacation with the girlfriend to Costa Rica for a few days, some Tokico D-spec shocks.......

And...........

A ring. :D

Grandpa 02-11-2013 02:04 AM

We've been talking about a trip to Key West this summer.

Sweet. Never been to the Keys, but it's on the long list of places to visit. Drive or fly?

BLK2012GT 02-11-2013 02:11 AM

Nothing I have to pay ever since I got a divorce. I think child support should be a write off.

If you can "write off" education for the most part, I don't see why you can't make that argument.

But you have badass cars/trucks already. :p

Fly to Orlando. Spend a few days at Disneyworld then drive down to the Keys for a week of relaxation then fly home from Miami.

So I assume the kiddos are coming? That sounds like it will be a blast.

Hopefully you don't get to meet that racist bunny they have....(Google search it)

pohnjarker 02-11-2013 02:25 AM

Oh yeah, we don't go anywhere without our kids. In the 4 1/2 years of my lil girls life, I've only been away from her for 5 days. :)

We go to Disney/MGM every year, go down to the beach house in Galveston a few times, Sea World in San Antonio, going to Schiltterbahn this year since she's big enough finally. As you can see, we are big on vacations over here. Time with your family is THE most imporant thing.

03MachMe 02-11-2013 02:33 AM

Fix my hood, rest to pay off some debt. Growing up sucks

downtime! 02-11-2013 03:19 AM

Barton shifter, McLeod Twin disc clutch and Strange C Clip eliminator kit. If you're paying a bunch this year, you need a better accountant!

Dark Pony 02-11-2013 08:30 AM

I was going to get a nice amount back until they factored in my 1099...

Toby 02-11-2013 10:13 AM

Im just hoping to break even... The wife was on unemployment about 3/4 of the year and they were not holding taxes out. Hoping that doesnt fuck us.... If for some reason we do get back a few bucks it will just go to the savings account. Our anniversary is coming up in a couple weeks, we are hoping to go either to houston, or might just hang around dallas not sure just yet.

Phuck Phace 02-11-2013 12:06 PM

Giving it to True Street.

You're going to take your wife to HOUSTON for your anniversary?! Do you not like her or something? lol

She has family there, and been wanting to go visit them for a while. Not all of us are ballers that can afford to go on a big trip. She is starting a new job next week so money is tight right now. Not really sure what we are going to be able to afford at this point, have to see how this new job works out in terms of timing on paycheck and such..

This. I used to average like $250 returned and paid in maybe $3. Until that sweet lil Bush idea where, if you have a job, you get a cool $1k or so. :boobs:

1andonlywhitie 02-12-2013 06:44 PM

I'll probably throw whatever I get back into savings... money isn't exactly in high quantity right now...

Zeek 02-12-2013 08:21 PM

Dang. How many exemptions did you put down on your W4? I originally had 3 when I started working where I work now but quickly realized that I would be paying back the next year so changed it to 1. Got about $1k back. Could probably change it to 2 exemptions and get more money throughout the year and get a couple hundred around tax time.

And to answer the question...$200 to a Galaxy S3 (first time ever having a smart phone) and the rest into savings due to a wedding and honey moon coming up in April

DirtyD 02-13-2013 09:46 AM

I'm single and 0 on mine.
