I know Derek will like this esp since its DIB lol what do you guys think? I keep going back and forth between this and the roush. I really want to keep my fogs now since they are so bright lol

Put the stock pic up too so I can see them both to give an educated opinion. :)

BLK2012GT 09-06-2012 12:56 PM

why do you keep telling me to leave things stock but you can mod? haha

03MachMe 09-06-2012 01:04 PM

I like the Roush. im going with either that grill and lower or this grill with the roush lower.

Midnight11 09-06-2012 01:07 PM

I dont like how the cdc is so open...

Grandpa 09-06-2012 01:09 PM

The Roush, by far. Not only does it look better, but would be MUCH easier to clean. That honeycomb looking grill would be a pain in the ass to clean much like my stock one is. I probably spend 20 minutes alone just cleaning the grill on my car getting the bugs out of in each one of those little holes. It's irritating.

03MachMe 09-06-2012 01:10 PM

yea it looks funny with the honeycomb lower but i wonder how it would look with the Roush lower

Midnight11 09-06-2012 01:10 PM

yea but like i said these fogs are awesome. might find a way to mount them behind the roush...

the lower doesnt bother, the gaping hole in the grill does haha

I like my fogs more than I hate cleaning the bugs. So I'm leaving mine the way it is.

They are plenty bright, they just aren't rudely blinding to other drivers like yours are. I hate those damn lights when they are coming the other direction. lol

Midnight11 09-06-2012 01:22 PM

mine have a nice cutoff thank you very much lol

03MachMe 09-06-2012 01:26 PM

trying to compare prices. where do you even get the lower for the Roush? I found the upper for $200 but cant find the lower anywhere

I would think it would all come together rather than seperate pieces.

DirtyD 09-06-2012 02:32 PM

You know my answer. LOL

I like the BOSS grill because it throws back to the tri-flag pony badge that all the Mustangs used to rock back in the day.

Plus, I like using as many factory exterior parts on my rides as I can. That's the direction I was heading with my truck. Basically an FX2 model before they built it.

dallasmike 09-06-2012 02:45 PM

I like the roush grilles personally. I've never been a fan of the foglights on these cars. The roush is clean and simple and is what I would do on my own car.

Midnight11 09-06-2012 02:55 PM

well at least i know for sure i want the roush splitter

same here.

Eaglei532 09-06-2012 03:03 PM

I love the roush look, and with the mini-fogs you will still keep the extra light you want

Midnight11 09-06-2012 03:06 PM

You have to add those and that's like 350 bucks

Kosovobandit 09-06-2012 04:01 PM

I think that the roush and the boss look good. I also like the stock running horse. But that said the DIB with the Boss grill and Fogs looks really really good. I say keep the fogs. Reminds me of a 69 Mach 1.

shadow11 09-06-2012 09:16 PM

I like the Roush front end with the fog lights down low.

Exactly why I'm getting the Boss grill. :)

Roush, upside is better airflow and decreased IAT's.

JDBishopArts 09-07-2012 04:19 PM

I just don't think I can get rid of the LED fogs on the '13. If it was a 12 I'd get the Roush grill all day. I'm probably going to wait a while to see what else comes out because I don't like the honeycomb either. I'll probably do the brake cooling ducts because I think they look cool and to try to prevent brake rotor warp. The Brembo rotors are retarded expensive.

Kronis 09-08-2012 08:18 PM

Midnight, lets find a way to mount the fogs behind. If we can, it's what I will do as well. Ugh, would look so good.

Midnight11 09-08-2012 08:19 PM

That's what I want to do...

Luke 09-27-2012 05:02 PM

I like the Boss, but since DirtyD is so close I'll be doing something different or leave it stock. More stock body parts leaves more money for twin turbos!!

Now that is what I'm saying.. :favorites37:

jayman33 09-27-2012 08:53 PM

Let me know when you want to pick up the Roush stuff!!

If I had a '13 GT, my first mod would be to get rid of those ugly fogs. They don't match the headlights and they are mounted slightly higher.

It really doesn't matter which option you choose. Getting rid of those stock fogs should be your #1 priority.

Midnight11 10-10-2012 01:05 PM

nah i like the fogs now

Sublime302 10-10-2012 01:09 PM

I like the stock grille and boss grille. But i dont like how the boss has no fogs. I want the shelby front bumper with the fogs. Then maybe a black billet grille with no fogs in the center. who knows what i will do lol
