Hi All,

I'm new to the forum.
I'm on my second mustang. Had a Black 2005 V6 Convertible for 3 years and now upgraded to a Candy Red 2011 GT Coupe.
I found you guys when I saw a white mustang at the Ford Dealership in Plano that had the decal. Really nice car BTW, white 2011/2012 with Saleem grille and Charcoal 19" AMR wheels.

1- How do I get some if these decals for my car?
2- If I decide to lower my car about 1" or 1.5", what would I need to buy? And average cost for parts and alignment?

Thanks,
Gordelis

Welcome man! Get with Midnight11 (Nic) for decals. We also have cards we will be getting more of soon.

As for drop, there is a number of route you could go. I would suggest making a thread in the suspension section, that way things don't get cluttered.

I finally got the car partially clean. Enough to snap some pics.
Will get more once I install everything I've bought for it. :-)

Selcouth 05-24-2013 09:50 PM

After having the parts sitting in the garage for over a month, I finally installed the new Grill and front valance.
I like the new look.
Now is time to start looking for suspension parts. :-)

Yes. Get a drop on that thing ASAP and the wheels will be perfect.

GunsUp 07-08-2013 09:47 AM

Finally a picture of my car lowered. It looks much better without the 4x4 suspension gone. Lol

Welcome, and I was about to post lower the car ASAP but decided to read through all the posts first haha, beat me to it. Looks good. IMO front can come down a little more which it may after it settles. Black 5.0 pages are a must and I'd consider powder coating those wheels black. anywho.. Beautiful car!! grill looks sick on the 11-12s

A few more pictures of my car, clean after all.

Any ideas for next mods?
I was thinking about plastidip the wheels either anthracite, gold or copper and see how it looks before I powder coat them.

Rgds.

merlinmol 09-13-2013 12:21 PM

Gordelis, you aren't allowed to do copper... just saying! Apparently I cannot read page two to see you already lowered the car haha. Personally I like that bright silver on those wheels. Looks good and so few people leave it that way anymore. You should get some brembo's for the car. I think Midnight11 is still selling his for pretty cheap.

Man,
You car look sick with those wheels. I remember seeing pictures in the forum in the past.
If I choose copper, it will be a much darker tone.
I won't copy-cat your car. LOL

I thought about Brembos but can't afford them now. Might just paint the calipers black for now.

Oxford14Stang 09-14-2013 05:40 PM

Honestly man, your building the car pretty much the same order everyone else did lol. Once you get the tune on the car you're going to be like HOLY @%!@$%$^$%@!$#@$!@# ford de-tuned the @#$@#!$#@$!@# out of it.

Oxford14Stang 09-14-2013 05:41 PM

As far as the wheels go, like Scott said (merlinmol) the color of those wheels go good with that paint. I'd maybe and thats a big maybe consider possibly more of a greyish color?
