New to DFW
 

Hello DFW50s.com. Name is Nick and I moved to the DFW area from Florida back in October. My car is a 2011 Roush Sport and mods are pretty light for now. Trying to keep the warranty intact for a little while on account of my mt82 fears so I've been focusing on trying to put the power I already have to the ground. Back in Florida I was pretty active with SCCA autocross events and have run a couple of track days. Here are some pics/video of the Mustang and maybe ill see you guys around :burnout:

Nah I saw the logo on a shirt from an event at North star. What do you drive? I used to see a 2013 with a GT500 rear but not much else around here.

RS is actually just a limited run of appearance only mods. The dealer I bought mine from installed the exhaust and Roush sway bars separate from the package. I went in for a Brembo but they worked way too good of a deal on this one to say no. Kind of cool it's the first Coyote Roush ever built...serial #001.

I really want to start getting into AutoX and road courses.

I love the car man. I get pissed when I see it because its not only the same color I would want in a 2013 but also had the same exhaust setup I'd be running lol.

Autocross season starts soon here and I'm just happy there are WAY more events than the central Florida region I was a member of last year.

You guys know of any trustworthy wheel repair or machine shops nearby? My new wheels need a small modification before I install them.

I don't know of any...maybe check with dallasmike and see if he can point you in the right direction.

Its SO fun!! It was in my miata anyway.. :)

we basically do the same thing in our driving school for the PD but I'm sure it would be much more fun in my Mustang rather than the slow Tahoes and V6 Chargers we used last time. Although the fact of knowing I wont have to pay for brakes or tires after does help lol
