Lol jackass! Ya I'm partial to 5 spoke wheels what can I say?

Dominic Toretto 07-19-2013 12:08 PM

Tire specs?

-Alex

DirtyD 07-19-2013 12:45 PM

275/35/20 on all four corners.

Danny, why didn't you go with 285/35/20 instead?

Dominic Toretto 07-19-2013 01:05 PM

Or at least a 295 rear.

295 are hard to find and almost non existent in a 30 series for 20s, or any rim. 35 series are more common, and that would be a 28.12" tire in the rear, which I don't think Danny would clear without issues. If he could find a 295/30, that would be the best route

Ah gotcha. That's really the problem with larger wheels in general is finding a tire to fit. 18s have the good life.

20s are easier than 19s, but 18s are easiest.

20s typically become limited in types of tires as most are higher performance tires

46Tbird 07-19-2013 04:26 PM

305/35-20s will fit in the rear, no problemo. Even with Sportlines.

I don't know if his offset will agree with that tire size and the fenders.

I have seen a few cars with 305mm tires over on svtperformance and lowered pretty well.

It's not so much the tires but the backspace the wheels have. If the offset is low enough, the wheels will stick out too far to even put a 285 on...

Rydawg1 07-19-2013 08:55 PM

Looks good man and I agree you can't go wrong with a classic 5 star design! :rockit:

Jucostud 07-20-2013 08:05 PM

We did 275/35/20 on all 4 because Danny wanted to be able to rotate them. Yes, 285/35/20 will fit on all 4, but not many choices in that size, specially under $300 a tire. He also didn't want to go shorter than stock.

GunsUp 07-21-2013 10:51 AM

Looks great Danny! Now make it out to a meet so we can see them already foo

jayman33 07-21-2013 04:25 PM

Thanks for clarifying Jon. Ya I wanted to keep it somewhat practical. To be honest the 275s are plenty of tire, espically when comparing to what I had before. Been busy with work, house stuff, and other things, i'll try to be out to a meet real soon, if anything the next C&C. I need to get some better pics too, tapatalk uploads blow.

Phuck Phace 07-26-2013 12:40 PM

Looks good Danno, need to update avatar and sig.
