Base or premium?

maxpayne 10-04-2013 02:17 PM

14 base with no options and 3 miles on the clock - $421 /month. 6 yrs/1.9%. But I pay $500 a month.

re-rx7 10-04-2013 02:20 PM

gd deal

It would have been better but I lost a good chunk on my trade. Well, my negative equity was equal to the amount I would have saved in taxes by trading in and taking advantage of the tax break. So, its like I bought my 5.0 with no trade in and paid full TTL. Not ideal but I really wanted the car. To each their own.

DirtyD 10-04-2013 02:40 PM

When I first financed the car, did a 4 @ 2.2%, paying $606/month. Just recently refinanced to ease my wallet, and help pay off some CC bills, and now I'm on the loan by myself, refinanced for 5 @ 2.35%, paying $455/month. All with GAP. I put down $6k.

Yup. Why I was able to drop $150 off by only extending out a year. I don't know how much positive equity I have, but it hopefully is a little.

$680/month here. 2012 GT Premium, fully loaded except for Navi and glass roof. Have no idea what the interest rate is. and that's only for 36 months. Car will be paid off in 10 or 11 months.

Damn, any money down? Lucky bastard.

BERT 10-04-2013 05:33 PM

2014 base, 3.84%(which I thought was badass til I read this thread), 75 months at $460/mo. Should've been cheaper but I owed too much on my truck

Not much. I think I ended up financing around $25,000, so about $4500 down. X plan and dealing got me in the car for just over $30,000 on a sticker price of $39,000. It's not the car I went to buy, but I Like what I ended up with.

Hagen3great 10-04-2013 05:55 PM

Thats awesome! Mine is the same as yours Downtime but I got navigation and stock 3.31s. With the Xplan and knowing the salesman was 34,300 with Sticker just under 40. It sounds like your haggling worked! I Put 10k down no trade and 5yr 27k loan @1.9 gave me 525/mo. This was at grapevine ford in November 2011.

46Tbird 10-04-2013 06:05 PM

Traded in an '06 Dodge Ram, financed the rest (just under $22k) at 1.9%. So $382/mo for 60mos. I'm good with it.

kdanner 10-04-2013 08:30 PM

Nothing. No payments on anything, cash is king. Getting away from payments is the path to freedom, you're no longer handcuffed to a job, you can do whatever you want.

downtime! 10-04-2013 09:40 PM

I like being handcuffed to my job. I'm good at it, and they pay me quite well for what I do. I plan on keeping that tradition alive for at least 15 more years. Then, all bets are off.

Ok Mr Money Bags.

I got 1.99% also, premium certified used, and additional extended warranty to 100k. I had negative equity on the trade in so was a bit upside down but needed it gone (accident that freaked the wife out). $480/month.

Meh.

03MachMe 10-04-2013 11:30 PM

415/mo

JDMLOL 10-04-2013 11:52 PM

My interest rate is through a local bank but its not bad at 4.9%. My payment is still only 440.

DirtyD 10-05-2013 10:47 AM

This is my first payment under my name too. Going through a Credit union helps a ton, plus I've had credit cards since high school to build credit. Had the score, just not the history.

Yup. After you get some payments made, then you can always refinance with a better history and drop a good chunk off. That's what I did (see a few posts above)

Let's just say it's one of the highest payments, the longest loan term, and one of the highest interest rates compared to those already posted lol

The thing is many of these #'s don't mean anything without knowing how much the person put down, trade in values, credit, options on the vehicle, etc.

Dark Pony 10-05-2013 04:25 PM

'13 premium - $685/ mo and I was upside down in my truck before I traded in. I put $3k down just to get in it.
