Which paint scheme for engine cover?

Since Steve isn't on Facebook, and he likes to look at shiny objects, I figured I would post this here as well. :D

Which paint scheme are you guys feeling for the engine cover?

DirtyD 09-05-2012 10:27 PM

No. Lol. You better choose one of the others I don't do then.

:biggun:

DirtyD 09-05-2012 10:39 PM

Steve, I know you're out there. :p

PLASMAN 09-06-2012 12:06 AM

1. And do the coil covers blue too

Grandpa 09-06-2012 12:15 AM

Haha, thanks for thinking of me. I like number one personally. Its enough blue where it color matches, but doesn't over take everything else in the engine bay. It has to be the right balance of color when it comes to detail, can't be too much of any one thing. :)

Numba 3

JDBishopArts 09-06-2012 10:18 AM

I like 1 but I'd keep the area around the 5.0 Black. Makes the chrome 5.0 pop while keeping the cool accents.

I tossed around this idea also. Not that hard to redo it, but just didn't at the time. Lol

I say 3 looks awesome and again great job on the photoshop. I wish I was smart enough to do this in photoshop.

Actually someone earlier mentioned the idea of snow camo. I might look into that.

But I could always see if a blue CF wrap would stay on there...but paint would be so much easier. And IDK how well wrap sticks to plastic exposed to heat.

Kosovobandit 09-06-2012 05:28 PM

Dont gang up on me I am a poor defensless fat kid, Courtesy didnt your Dad get the fiber hydrodip. How is it holding up on his car?

Midnight11 09-06-2012 05:31 PM

I'll have the hydrodipped on my badges here soon

DirtyD 09-06-2012 05:33 PM

I'd have to hydrodip the entire thing in like 3 stages. LOL

But having it all CF would look sweet.

Where are they located?

Dan12GT 09-06-2012 07:53 PM

I posted an idea for you on Facebook. You got me thinking about what to do for mine as well. I recently painted my coil covers grabber blue like the boss cover color. Looks great but I am looking to do a bit more. Thanks for the inspiration :)

Grandpa 09-06-2012 07:56 PM

What in the fuck...

DirtyD 09-06-2012 09:04 PM

What's that about Steve?
