Traction Control with Tune

I've notice since I tuned my Boss and added mods, that the traction control isn't as intrusive as it was when stock. For example, the ass end kicks out A LOT easier than before and this is WITHOUT the traction control activated. Has anyone experienced this or is it just me? Also, the tires were cold when this occurred, but the tail end came around a lot more than expected as opposed to before. Just curious. Thanks

I don't think it's the traction control.. recently cars have had torque management, tuned into them. It's most noticed as that lag you notice right after you shift, most tunes dial that out and also they get more aggressive with the throttle body, so it opens more. And earlier, this relates to a harsher drive but increased performance. The stock traction control is set to control the stock car, after the tune It just gets away from the computer that much faster.. that's my thoughts on it anyway.. I noticed that same thing with the "race" tune. So much that I run the performance tune most of the time because it's less aggressive.

I agree. The performance tune is much smoother and seems to make the car more powerful without it being as aggressive. I just switched it back to performance. I just love the lope of the cam at idle though.
