Need help not sure what tires to buy!!!
 
As of now I have 18'' wheels but I'm going to order a set of staggered wheels 20x9, and not sure if I should go with 20x10 or 20x10.5?

Any suggestions on what tire to get?

285/35-20
295/35-20
305/35-20

Those are the 3 rear tire sizes you should be looking at. Pick a brand of tire that you like the price of one of those, and then get a fitting front tire. Michelin Pilot Super Sports are the current rave for the best tire, if you are looking to stay a little less expensive Nitto has some good options.

I'd do a square 20x10 setup with either 275/35R20 Michelin Pilot Super Sports, or Continental DW's. Square setups are better for performance and better for the tires since you can rotate them.

staggered still best. Rotate them side to side dont get directional tires.

stay away from falcons wet performance is horrible.

Pirelli still my choice if i can find a used set cheap. not paying 400+ a tire new.

Better resale value? Why are you selling the tires you bought in the first place.

Square fitment can look just as good, if not better.

Square balances the car's handling characteristics. Ever wonder why people say driving a car on bigs and littles is so sketchy? You have a 1' wide contact patch on the rear tires versus a 8" contact patch on the tires that you steer with...meaning the front tires hold less lateral grip.

Naye. If you really want max handling, stuff as much tire as will fit (or allowed per rules if competition). Balance the handling with spring and swaybar selection.

I actually run square for street (stock brembos - but nice to rotate), and picked tires within SCCA STU limits (285 max for 2WD).

What looks better is a matter of opinion which is going to differ from person to person. I personally think square set ups look downright silly, but I get why the guys trying to go fast in a parking lot do it since it's better suited for handling.

If it were me, I'd do a set of both. A nice staggered for the street set up which will allow you to be able to run more tire on the rear for straight line stuff. Then buy some cheap junky square set up that you wouldn't care about marking up in a parking lot and possibly curb checking them. You pick up a cheap square set up for 500 bucks. If you fuck one up, you can replace it easy and cheap enough.
