I was, until the stem broke. For now I don't have any sensors in the rears but Sean at Truestreet told me a way to make it work that they used on the Vettes when he worked at LG Motorsports. Once I try that I will report back with you guys how it works.

Good to see you made it over here Danny! Make sure you make a intro thread with some pics of your car. :)

Yeah, you can just shove them into a PVC tube and forget about them, but frankly I'd rather know that my $300/ea tires are losing pressure. ;)

Do yours work on your car?

46Tbird 06-18-2012 05:26 PM

Yes they do. When I bought my wheels, they had the '05-10 TPMS in there and I drove around for 12k miles just pushing that little fucking button every time I got in the car. Maddening. So I bought a set of new ones off ebay when I replaced the tires, and that was the best $125 I have ever spent.

Do you have a link to those?

46Tbird 06-18-2012 05:50 PM

They're all over ebay. I bought mine over 60 days ago so I can't search it on my profile  but here is a similar link. Research that this is the correct part number before buying.

Also, Discount Tire (or any tire store) can sync the sensors to your car, you don't need to buy the scanning tool.

The pictures are on the camera and I'm technology challenged. I'll have to wait for the wife to show me how to upload them to photobucket. I need to learn how to do it anyways if I'm going to be taking pics for everyone at GTG's and shows. lol.
