New Guy in McKinney

Hi!

Just joined the club. I bought a 2013 Mustang GT Premium with Track Pack and Recaros on Monday. It's Ingot Silver. I bought it in Mojave, CA and drove it back to Texas this week - had a blast on the road trip with my son. It only has 6700 miles (including the drive from Mojave to DFW).

Already bought a Pedestal Spoiler and the Cali Special rear lower fascia. Planning to add LeMans Stripes, Roush Lowering Springs (F:1" R:1.25") and the Roush Wheel Hop Reduction kit in December.

Got it inspected today, don't even have tags yet - Monday's task.

Welcome! You're just down the street from True Street Motorsports there in McKinney. Be sure to go see them when you're ready to start throwing some speed parts at it! :)

Welcome! Nice to see a father and son share enthusiasm in the hobby

Welcome, grats on new car. I however, do not agree with the above here from Steve. If you are going to get work done you need to do your own research and see who you feel will be best for you. We all have different recommendations and most all of them have had their goods and bads.

You could have just suggested another place instead of being a dick by stating the obvious there to do his own research which is kind a given. lol

Nah, being a dick would be saying more than I did and you know it Steve lol.

Welcome to the site. Post some pics of the ride!! How'd you hear about dfw50s?

KurvStr8nr 12-01-2013 07:57 PM

I learned about DFW50s at Cars -n- Coffee in Plano. I'll post some pics after I get a few things done. Right now it looks (& is) pretty stock and looks like any other silver GT. It still had all of the factory stickers (CA hazardous material, XM Sat, Built by UAW) in the windows until today. Tomorrow I'll get license plates and start on installing the CS lower rear valence.

Welcome. OP where did you order the CS rear fascia?

Welcome

KurvStr8nr 12-02-2013 10:20 PM

I ordered the CS rear fascia direct from Ford - picked it up at the dealer when I picked up the car.

We're practically neighbors as mentioned! Pop in just to say hi! Everyone jives differently with different people and shops. If you like us, great! If not well that's cool too! But your more than welcome to stop by, hang out, watch Dyno runs and simply shoot the breeze with us any time, any day!
