Once the weather gets better I will take you up on that. Damn car is getting dirty just sitting in the garage.

03MACH ME.... Do you still have the factory lower grill behind your new billet grill or did you find a way to mount the new one without it? From you pictures, it doesn't look like it is there.

My grill should be here this week and I am worried how the lower will look since it just covers the factory.

I made a bracket that allowed me to remove the lower grille and mount it strait to the bumper. Ill post some pics of what I did when I get home. If your local I would be happy to help you out with it. Looks 100x better without the stock grille behind it

If you could post some pics that would be great. I am a good distance from Wylie but I think I can figure it out from pictures. I started thinking about this already but can't really think of a bracket design until I have it torn apart.

I made a bracket out of some spare aluminum I had. i drilled holes in the middle of the bracket (not in the pic) for the bracket that the grille comes with to hold it to the bumper. It will make more sense once you get the grille and see how they say to connect it. I basically used the brakets i made instead of the stock grille.

That's the grille I'd like to go with. Looks great! I'm thinking if I can find the emblem CDC shows on their site I'd add that to the upper myself.

I ordered the emblem with mine from American Muscle. I will get some pics if it ever gets here.

I am wondering how the emblem is going to work if I still use the Fog lights behind the grill. The emblem should be offset to the Drivers Side to look right but I do not want to cover up the fog light.

I'm putting mine in the middle. Have seen it done on sublimes car and it looks good

I like it offset like how the CS have it. To me it gives it more of an old school hot rod look. It also happens to match my other stang... so maybe I am a bit biased lol.

Yea I have seen that done as well also looks good. I have some tint on my fogs so you can't see them unless they are on and the emblem wouldn't be a problem in front of it if you decide to do that. I had a 5.0 badge on mine for a while and worked just fine

Joey289 03-26-2013 11:15 AM

I am still on the fence about what to do with fog lights.

I am going to run the CS style down in the front valance so these are the options I am debating.

1) CS lower fogs tied into running lights with a relay. Keep stock fogs on switch, in current location, and tint them. (CS fogs on when headlights are on)

2)Option 1, but with fog lights moved closer to the center and tinted.

3)CS lower fogs tied into fog lights. Keep stock fogs on switch, in current location, and tint them. (CS fogs on when stock fogs are)

4) Option 3, but move fogs to center.

5)CS lower fogs tied into stock fog light harness. Remove stock fog lights.

The deciscions will take longer than the install lmao.
