Keep getting notification of "Failed Login"
 

I've gotten two separate emails the past three or so days saying that someone tried to log into my account with an incorrect password at least 5 times. Is anyone else getting these notifications?

Yeah, but I don't know if I should change my password seeing as its telling me they aren't entering the right password.

As long as you can still log in it shouldn't be an issue. Unless you picked an easy to guess password. Then I would change it.

sounds like someone is phucking with you by typing in your username and just hitting enter...maybe not actually trying to log in. unless you have an unhappy ex, they can be downright vicious sometimes for no apparent reason :shrug:

I'm having the same issue op just got the second email this morning. Ip says its from russia...

Yeah, my password is essentially impossible to just guess, I don't have an angry ex, and nobody that I know would even know I'm on this site. If you're saying the IP is from Russia (I didn't check where mine was from), sounds like someone is randomly selecting usernames and trying to log in. But why?

They have no idea what the website is or what information might be on it. They are simply fishing for personal information to use. Russia is a major center for computer hacking.

More than likely it's a bot. Don't worry about it.

Just a bot. I have been ip banning where they are coming from, so hopefully it slows down or stops.

Lol I got one too, I tracked the IP address to somewhere in St. Petersburg in Russia.
