Shed the Emblem?

I have found a site called uprproducts.com that has some nice blacked out anodized billet emblems. I am thinking of removing the 5.0 and installing a 302 just want to be different I suppose. Any thoughts? Anybody done this already or am I f***ing it up?:beatdeadhorse5:

If you like it is all that matters. It's your car, and it's supposed to look a little different that everyone elses.

Funny you mention this, I was thinking of the same idea. I like the idea of going oldschool and displaying cubic inches instead of liters. Like the Challenger having the 392 badge. Thanks for the link!

I sort of like the "302" badge as well. Too bad there are guide holes behind the 5.0 emblem :/

Speaking of emblems...... What is the best way to get my "5.0" black? Are you guys using an overlay or are yall pulling the chrome 5.0 and putting a black 5.0 in its place?

Agreed.

Do what you like, don't worry about what others like. It's your car and you are the one who has to be happy with it on a daily basis.

Thanks for the input. How hard is it to rip the current 5.0 badge off and replace with a black emblem?

Plasti dip. It's easy.

I installed the blacked out anodized billet 302s in place of my 5.0 badges and I do like very much. Only problem is the UPR Product badges are a little short so it didn't cover both line up holes. Next mod filler and paint. Every mustang I see has the Black 5.0s on them and I gotta be unique with mine. I'm trying to make my neighbors have day dreams about changing there generic badges. Will post pics after filler and paint.Gotta go smoke tires now.
