Painting the rx7 Red. Color suggestions?

Painting the Rx7 red this monday and Im still undecided on the type of Red. I like the Anthracite red that came on the MK4 supras but i figured i'd ask if you guys have any suggestions. No pearls.

Not a huge fan of the 2nd Gen cars, but everyone I've ever liked was painted white.

If it has to be red, you could do a lot worse than Race Red from the new Stangs.

A color change would be awesome. Just out of my budget. Race red is another color i was looking at.

I've never been a fan of red cars, but I dig the race red stangs.

Body looks clean. I'm more a fan of the brighter reds myself.

NOt bad. Id say its probally a lil slower then the stang. I love it though, the feedback and the weight make it feel like a go kart. lol with me in it it tipped the scales at 2750.

You're really asking other people what color to paint your car?

Red pigments are the most expensive, especially when you get into the micas, metallics, and candies. They also smell a little different when painting.

If you want a suggestion, try GM code 70U which is Torch Red as applied on the C5 Corvettes. Nice color.

That is a pretty color of red. Im just asking for suggestions and personal experience from people. You are right red is very $$$. Im trying to stay away from pearls and candies. Just want a nice deep red.

Anyway I ended up being pretty pissed off at my bodyshop. I made the appt for the 23rd and drove from where i live to the bodyshop (which is an hrs drive) to be told that he wouldnt be able to get my car in this week. I was fucking pissed. I made the appt 2 1/2 weeks ago and the cars in the lot were different then the cars that were there that day i made the appt.:shooter: When I pointed this out he said nothing and said bring it back on the 14th of july and he would "take care of me". At this point im searching for a new shop.
