Water/Meth on my car

I was reading the march issue of 5.0 mustang and they did one on a boss NA with a 50 shot. Is it really worth it if I put it on my car?

Simple answer,No.

Really the only reasons to use water/meth are for the cooling effects and the ability to run more timing or to help prevent detonation. On a NA motor gains are going to be very minimal. I can't say I have seen anyone run water/meth and nitrous. Not to say its never been done. I just don't see the point other than to help prevent detonation.

A car with a blower/turbo set up will see big gains with water/meth from the ability to run more timing and the cooling effects. My IATs with my procharger at the end of a back to back 1/4 pass are 120-130 degrees. Even after one pass by the end of the track on a 60 degree day my IAT's are over a 100deg.

Truth. It will be a different animal on the bottle and a decent learning curve.

If you're on the juice I'd say no need for Meth. A lot of people run a small shot on blown cars too to help with cooling. Nitrous runs very cool.
