Anyone know how to unlock a sct
 
I have one but its programmed for my old 2011 v6 that i no longer have and i would like to use it for my 01' and my 5.0 but it needs to be unlocked and reprogrammed so do any of yall know where i could get that done for cheap?

I was always told that if you don't have access to the car anymore, it has to go back to SCT to be unlocked.

wassup nick, and yeah I heard the same thing they said it's like $150 to have it reprogrammed I was just seeing if anyone else knew how to do it for cheaper

Around 420. They do a pretty good job, but I've got a couple of issues I need the m to look at now that the hot weather is here.

You have to send it into SCT to have them unlock the XCal. You will also have to pay the $150 fee to do this.

They will onyl wave the fee if the previous vehicle has been totaled, of which you have to have proof.
