Stock cars are in the 11s. Tune only cars running 11:47s.

Expect to see ~11.3-.4 A6 cars. I also think that the M7 cars are going to trap higher due to less driveline loss and lower weight, but won't be quite as efficient getting down the track. I've drag raced lots of manual transmission cars, including 11.3 in my bone stock '13 GT500, 10.0 in my '03 Cobra, 9.8 in my '98 Viper, etc. and would love to have a day with one. Based on how these cars hook, I'm pretty sure they're going to go mid-11's too.

Oh snap.

And people say you can't compare Corvettes to higher end cars? Uh, that's been happening since before I was born lol.

You know it's funny because when the C6 came out I thought that GM was trying to make the Vette look like a Ferrari, and then when I saw one in person and then later drove my friends 07 ZO6 I thought they looked great and performed even better. I think the new C7 Corvette looks great from front to back, but I will admit it looks a lot like the Camaro from the rear. Love my 5.0, but I hope to add the C7 as my next car in the next couple of years.

I've noticed Corvettes have had some similar design cues as Ferraris since the 80s. Seeing the new C7 in person has been a treat. There's a white coupe parked across the street from my job a lot. It has finally surpassed the design architecture from 1997. Not that the C6 wasn't a great car, it was just too similar to a C5. And finally the Corvette interior is extremely well appointed. GM really nailed it. Of course now you're going to pay for what you buy but, still far far cheaper that the competition.

Anyone who says the car looks like a Camaro from the rear has never seen it in person. If you say that because of the tail lights you are wrong. They aren't even shaped anywhere close to the same and the lights are LED around the outside. The rear bumper itsself has no similarity to the Camaro either.

Personally I think they look good all the way around if you have certain colors on it. For example, the rear looks good in white and red. I like that they are taking design cues as far as reducing lift and drag on the car from Ferrari and some of the others, however, it still looks like a Corvette. The interior is by far the best thing they have ever done. Seats are a tad hard so long trips will suck, but other than that it is amazing.

merlinmol +1 to everything you said.

I have not sat in one yet so I don't know how comfortable the seats are. It's nice that they have seat options as well. Many have said that the base seats are very good for track duty so I don't know how much better the track seats will be.

I can't wait to see what a full bolt ons NA car will do since the autos with a tune only are in the mid 11s.

I wonder how much the ne Zo6 and Zr1 will cost. 100k Plus?

I'm reserving judgement on the new Vette until I see some modded ones with different wheels, lowered etc. I'm not sure if I like it or not because I love the C6 so much. It's hard to improve on near perfection of the C6.

What I know I don't like is the price! $70k for a base Vette?! They are on some serious crack.
