New 5.0 Arlington
 

Hey guys,

Just got my new 14 ruby red 5.0. It's base gt 6mt with the 301a package with 3.73 gears. No mods yet, added an oem strut tower bar Saturday.

Plans are gt500 axle backs, tune, and mgw shifter. Nothing too big.

I also have a 66 blue and white mustang with 289 v8 three speed, that I've had for eleven years. Mustang's run deep for me. Excited for the new vehicle and maybe attend some get togethers.

Also in the market for hand me downs, I have some trade materials (ammo and such).

Also forgot to mention will be getting a hand me down full track package suspension from a friend at Fort Hood very soon.

I came across the Facebook group and was directed to the forum there.

I'm in far south Arlington off of little road. Lived here basically my entire life.

Check out the Mansfield meet at Fuzzy's off Debbie Lane on Saturday nights. I know a good number of members head out there

Sweet I honestly didn't know there was a fuzzy's in Mansfield, I usually eat at the one off of green oaks and pleasant ridge.

Yup. It's in that newer shopping center/apt complex next to what I think is LA Fitness.

Weird. I'll have to check it out. My son and wife love fuzzy's.

Edgar and Barry whereabouts in Arlington? I don't see a whole lot of 5.0s around mostly v6. On Fridays off of sublett and 287 at the Albertsons I see some parked away from the show, but that's about it.

Also where's a good dyno tuner or just tuner in general around here?

HPP in Lewisville, some people will recommend Gearheads in Arlington off S Cooper (across from the YMCA). Those are the shops most would recommend. There is also Truestreet motorsports in McKinney, but there is also a flame war that will ensue with that shop (not everyone on the board is fond of them).

I am in Arlington off Collins and 30 area. I have used HPP for tuning and other needs and they have always treated me fair. I will hit Fuzzys up for the first time on Saturday
