When are Caster/Camber kits needed?

Was talking with Steve at C&C and he pretty much convinced me to go with the springs he is using. Your drop looks awesome man I love it.

Anyway I notice caster/camber kits are not all the time talked about here. Looks like most people go with the springs and a good panhard bar. Maybe, I'm missing something but seems like it isn't mentioned often. Anyway just wanting to get some opinions / suggestions on this as I will be looking into lowering the stang in the near future. I also daily drive it so I want to keep my tire life to an absolute maximum if possible.

Typically any drop over 1" will require additional camber adjustment to come within specs. The camber bolts from the factory don't allow for camber adjustment like the bolts that Eibach, BMR, etc provide have lobes on the bolt head to give it up to 2* of eccentricity.

If you plan on going with aftermarket struts, just spend the extra $ for plates. That's my opinion.

I'm on Sportlines and I use the Maximum Motorsports plates.

Its better to get them out of the way along with a decent set of shocks and struts. I prefer the Koni STR's especially guys who want a good ride quality but want to save some coin. Steve's setup is pretty sick, those rims help out though:)

Yep, Good shit. Spend good money now and don't worry about it later.
