Haven't really posted anything as far as what I own so I thought I add a little about the cars.

I'll start with the fox for obvious reasons :waytogo:

Picked this car up a few years ago, because foxbodys are what got me into cars in the first place. It's come quite a ways since I first picked up. It was in rough shape as the previous owner did a hack job swapping in the 87 5.0 along with the awesome black rattle can paint job. I have since had the car repainted, did some engine work(heads/intake/rockers blah blah blah), suspension work, threw on some ponys, and now I'm working on the interior(need to freshen up the aero interior). It's a long term project, but one I have enjoyed thus far. It still has a ways to go to get where I want it, but I'm enjoying it for what it is. It's being built for my wife and I to cruise Route 66 through the Texas panhandle.

Next are the non Ford cars. :troll3:

1997 Grand Prix GTP. I took off the shitty M90 and did an intercooled turbo(61mm) swap which helped the car put down 346whp/575tq on 13PSI with the 200Kmi factory block. Torque numbers are probably inflated due to convertor flash. Plans for it are cam/ported heads/67mm turbo. My goal is 500whp out of the little 3.8. Yes, I'm crazy for modding a FWD, but I absolutely love this car.

Last but not least is my 2005 M6 GTO which is my daily. No big plans for now. If I do anything it will be a set of wheels, suspension, and maybe some exhaust.

Thanks for looking. Ill stick to providing updates on the fox since this is a Mustang site. ;)

Interesting collection. I love the notch but that GTP is pretty cool too, very different than the norm.

That fox is super clean dude:head3: . Also good to see a goat owner in the forum too, it's a shame what happened to Pontiac. I'm gonna' miss those cars.

Nice fox man! Also interested in seeing those plans for the gtp come to life! That would be wild to see!

Very cool, J. I see the pic of the GTO was taken at the photo op location on the cruise route. It's about time we do a DFW50's cruise using that route. It would be a good time. :)

Thanks for the positive comments guys. Sounds like a few are interested in updates on the GTP as well. I will go ahead and update.

Why yes it was taken at the photo op on the cruise route you are familiar with. ;). Funny you mention about setting something up for this site. I was actually thinking about that the other day.

They have fixed the roads on that 2nd half( 10/15 miles of curves). It's actually really smooth now and the goat surprised me how well it handled the curves at high speed. As long as I was out of the gas coming out of them. There are a few potholes on the first half that need to be repaired but are avoidable if driven in the middle or in the other lane.

I'm game to set something up. Ill post a poll later today to see if we can get enough interest. One things for sure I'm taking the Goat, cause with the fox there's no way in hell I'm keeping up. Plus the GTO doesn't feel like it will rattle apart at triple digit speeds. :rockit:

I made a thread awhile back on doing a cruise and there was a lot of interest in it. I got a lil sidetracked with my wife's rough pregnancy and now my brother being really sick. :( Plus, we had several members who had cars down so it seem like it was a good time to do it.

If you want to help co-organize it that's cool with me. I think we need to do it soon before it gets too hot. I have a route sheet still, but I'm sure you probably know the route really well by now.

Just let me know what you need I'd be more than happy to help. I have the route memorized so I don't mind leading a group if there is enough interest to warrant multiple groups leaving. A good number per group is about 7-10 anymore than that and you run the risk of losing people. I'm actually already leading a group on June 2nd. Anyone is welcome to tag along. We are meeting at 9:00am at the old courthouse in McKinney.
