Exhaust Work
I recently lowered my 2011 mustang and I am running the Kooks header, kook high flow cats xpipe, and the magnaflow comp system 3". I now have an exhaust that rattles. Took it to Kens Muffler Shop to look at it and I noticed the over axle pipe hitting the rear end and the vent on the rear diff leaking. He said that there was nothing he could do for me but I am not just going to give up. The exhaust sounds loose but I can not find anything abnormal. Does anyone have some suggestions? I need a good shop that's used to dealing with these issues.:boxed:

You try loosening the clamps front and rear and rotating the mid pipe?

Not yet but I am gonna get under her today.

Not much wiggle room. Be careful and try not to get the pipes too close to the fuel tank vent and the fill hose. |
Vorshlag
I have tried adjusting the pipes as much as I can and they just will not work. Tried flatting out the surface where they hit also. Now my vent is busted due to the pipes hitting the axle. Taking to Vorshlag on the 21st to get a true custom job done. I hate to pay for it but I am tired of dealing with it. The relocation kit for the rear vent will not work due to it being taller than the original vent that came on the 2011's. Was going to put the vent in the fill plug on the B&M diff cover but no room.
