BMR Stuff Installed

I was finally able to clear some time to get this stuff put on. Another shout out to Bacadiesel for the tremendous help and we even managed to get my wheels centered with the panhard bar.

Gotta inspect the parts before installation.

Some close ups of the relocation brackets. Top quality stuff for those that may not have seen these.

Due to the weather, I have not been able to do any really aggressive driving but, I can already tell the ride is more responsive and comfortable. Less jitters. I chose the top hole setting because it is already about 5-6 inches lower than the stock height of where the LCA would contact at. Thanks again Frank for coming out in this weather.

How hard is it to adjust panhard?

Bacadiesel 12-21-2013 11:45 PM

That ones pretty tough to adjust cuz lock nuts are on each end. Can't get a wrench to tighten lock but on passenger side, so we had to remove it like twice to adjust.

BMR panhard is on-car adjustable

This! I honestly had no intentions of messing with it lol. Glad you were willing to tackle it again, it does look much better.

This J&M one is also "on car" adjustable but, it would be a royal pain in the ass to do, just easier to bring down the passenger side and make adjustments as needed. Hindsight, it may have been an easier task to just thread the passenger side completely and make adjustments from the driver's side.

Some are made with the adj nut in the middle?

Dan12GT 12-22-2013 10:14 AM

I have no issues adjusting my BMR panhard. You just need to loosen the lock nuts on both ends then adjust and re-tighten.

Not that I am aware of.

Not yet. I plan on getting it done this week.

Very easy to get to with the car on ramps

The freedom racing PHB is also a double end adjustable.

Ouch, hope nothing was destroyed. I just noticed that since the brackets are about 3-4 inches from the ground, probably not a good idea.

Ive never taken any car Ive owned to a drive thru wash. Your just asking for it by doing so.
