New wheels, what suspension to lower
 

Just got this staggered set of 20" avant garde wheels installed and trying to figure out what I want to do with the stance to settle her into the wheels nicely.

Many choices for suspension. You can go coilovers, or you can do the abundance of springs available. Are you looking for a big or small drop?

What size tires? Here is sportlines with koni yellows, on. You 20x10 wheels with 285/30/20 tires

285 20 in back and 265 20 in front. Can't remember the thickness right now. Probably gonna go with 1.5" ish

So with the "sportlines" springs that's all I'll need without losing any performance?

I would guess they are 285/30/20 rears and 265/35/20 fronts.

Sportlines are a good spring. I don't have experience with them, but they are popular with few complaints from everyone I see running them.

You will need to get an adjustable panhard bar also to adjust the rear axle centering under the car since the sportlines (being more drop) will cause the axle to shift to one side. Another part I would recommend, but not really necessary at the moment, is lower control arm relocation brackets.

I myself have BMR springs and love the slight rake they give.

What do you mean by rake?

Angle from rear to front or drop from rear to front. Aka stance. At least that's what I call rake....;)

Do they change the ride quality at all?

Rake is when the front of the car is lower than the rear, physically or visually

Rake is when the front and rear height is different. A car with a nose-up stance also has a 'rake.'
