Emissions Monitor..

Getting on 20 from Hulen yesterday I passed an "Emmisions Monitor" on the side of the highway. Had a camera mounted to it and got me thinking..what does everybody running offroad exhaust do to pass? Adjusted tune? Swap in a catted pipe for the test then remove it?

You will be fine. Those things have been around for years.

Thanks for the heads up. I usually get on 20 via hulen or mccart. I avoid trail lake because they have been known to test there as well.

I remember reading something similar on ls1 tech: What sort of people vote on this shit? Do they like getting tickets?

I've still got my cats so I wasn't worried at all but it did surprise me to see one there. Probably coincidence but a bike cop did have someone pulled over less than a mile away haha

Yeah, we've discussed this before. The entrance at Trail Lake Dr is where I have always seen them. I have zero problem with monitoring the vehicle emissions around here considering the amount of cars in the Metroplex and the fact that I like to breathe. :driver:
They do not issue citations.
