GTCS/Boss 302 Fascia Swap

I want to get the front fascia from the Boss 302 with the integrated foglamps. Has anyone done this swap already? Wondering if the factory wiring is already wired for this and just a plug-in-play option or if you have to do any custom wiring from a regular 2012 GT.

GTCS/Boss 302 Fascia Swap

There is actually a member here selling the Boss/GTCS front fascia, if I'm not mistaken.

But to answer your question, the new fog lights will have to be connected using the existing grill fog light harnesses, but I think they should be plug and play. I'm not entirely sure though.

Bump.

Has anyone here actually performed the swap?

Grant808 I think is his username on here. He had it done to his car, but removed it recently.

Guessing he's not a regular on here. I've yet to be under the front of this car but, from what I assume, it looks like a pretty straight forward swap. Especially if the lights are plug and play. Would just rather tackle it myself(when the time comes) than pay a bodyshop.

It is easily doable by yourself. I'll see if I can get him to stop by here. You may have luck with a PM as well.

Edit, I can't seem to find his username on here anymore, so it seems he is no longer on the forum...

Just to swap the valance maybe like an hour or two. I did the boss splitter which requires drilling 26 holes

Do you recall if the foglights are simple plug-n-play or did you have to do any custom work for that?

Plug and play just connect the harness for them

Yes very easy plug and play. Swapping the fascia piece is easy too. I've go removing the front bumper down to an art. I can get that sucker off in like 5 mins.

I watched the Brenspeed youtube video of them installing the Roush upper grill. They have to remove the bumper to do that. They did it fairly easy at least the video makes it look easy lol.

Do the wheels have to come off to remove the bumper?
