Automotive Machine Shop to grind/turn rotors?

I have a rotor that seems warped or has a weird transfer layer on it.

I'd like someone to make it straight.

Anyone have a recommendation for a shop that does a good job on rotors? I've been warned not to just take it to autozone for a turn...

If it is warped you might just be better off buying new ones. Stock rotors or aftermarket

Understood... but I'd like to know if machining the rotors is an option.

Several auto parts stores used to be able to machine rotors. There is no reason you can't have the stock ones done.

I'd just go to the brake performance Web site and get some cross drilled rotors.. done

I took them to my local O'Reilly auto parts. They turned them for $15 each. They seemed to turn out okay, to the eye... if they don't wobble then I'll be very happy.
