i was told by a guy who hydro dips locally

"The finish is actually a new paint job plus one step which is the dip. It's finished with an automotive clearcoat. So to answer your question, it can't be removed. It would have to be repainted to get rid of the image.

I do the prep work. I just need the parts as they are."

i wasn't aware of this with hydro dipping and i think i'd rather go the plasti dip.

white vents on a black car would be a hard sell if they dont have a black and white theme going on, but wishful thinking
