Despite the heat, and a sunburned scalp, I had a great time doing a little autocross yesterday. This is the big parking lot @ Lone Star Park. With a huge lot and lots of elevation change, it’s a great venue. The course was well laid out, and lots of fun, but I didn’t really grasp it at first. Fortunately, we got in 8 runs and I improved on almost every time. End result was a very satisfying. As a driver, the work in progress continues. I cross checked about half a dozen drivers from my 1st event. On a course like this, the car and I have gained about 6-9 seconds. Woo-hoo!!!
