Don't go, how can they prove you got an uncertified letter in the mail. I haven't been in years. My wife went once and ended up serving in a 3 week trial. Oh and I have spent a week at children's and that's not fun either.

I actually lucked out! After being there for about two hours, and a group of us got called. Right after the judge finished explaining everything, two attorneys came back and reported that the defendant settled out of court for whatever civil case it was. Got my slip for attending which isn't time specific so I took the rest of the day off. SCORE!
