Default 5.2L coyote making 500 plus hp NA from the factory

Yes please. Might have to trade my car in if the "new" SVT cobras come with this.

I would put money its a 5.0 based motor with "ecoboost" twin turbos like we saw with the SEMA cobra jet. I would guess around 600hp as well. But then again those are just my guesses

Had to do a lot of stuff to make 500 NA. This is 500 from the factory NA. Which means it can hit 600-650 rwhp NA with my mods. So yea I would trade my car in.

Mach 1 will return in 2017 and Shelby GT350, which will be a raw type car like the 60s version (Boss type replacement) will arrive in 2016.

A stroker 327 or 331 would be sweet.

I wonder how much the prices will go up by then. This is my last new car, going back to the old shit, I miss not having car payments.

yep I kind of wish I had just held onto the Mach 1 but am very happy with this car. From every rendering I have seen of the new mustang I will be very happy to stay in a 2013, maybe just upgrade to a boss.

Just seems to me they would be going backwards from a 662hp top of the line model to a 500hp car. Doesn't make any marketing sense.

I said quite awhile ago that the new shelby will most likely be 5.0 with Twin Eco boost technology. The current engine in the shelby dosnt fit the dimensions for the new car. The motor is to wide and tall.

I really hope they don't throw turbos in it. Always been a fan of root style blowers & twin screws.

I'm with you but as you can tell from every other Ford car they are putting the Ecoboost on just about everything showing added fuel mileage and more power. It would only make marking sense to put something similar in their top of the line performance car to help boos sales of other cars as well

With CAFE emmisions looming its a pretty safe be that Ecoboost will lead the way.
