Hard to say which is the daily driver- since they both take me back and forth to work on a regular basis. Nice dilemma to have each morning (well, unless its raining- then its pretty much a GT day).
Bought the '65 from the original owner's widow (spent her whole life in Ft. Worth, and was completely unrestored). She has her original (rebuilt +0.40) I6 with a new T-5spd manual, new '65 V8 disc brakes, 8" rear, original A/C (modern Sanden compressor), new GT style gauges, Rally-Pac, and GT fog lights. The wheels are MB Old School from Discount Tire. She shows nicely, but for 0-60, you're gonna have time for a quick snack on the way! The color is the original Silver Smoke Gray (which peeled in '66, so the dealer reshot in Wimbledon White) with original red vinyl. Other than the engine rebuild and paint (including a little body work to remove door dings and hail damage), everything was done in our two-car garage (and/or kitchen). She's not perfect, but she's as good as I could get her!
The '14 is a GT Premium with Track Pack, Comfort Package, Electronics Package, glass roof, and rear camera. Sterling Gray with Brick Red interior (kinda wishing they still had Vapor Gray- which was close to the '65s color). I plan on adding the FRPP GT500 axlebacks and Procal soon (since the only glitch I've noticed so far is a little lack of torque on the bottom end and a really quirky throttle- which the Procal is supposed to fix).
Oh, and I have an '03 convertible (Mr. Flow, I guess) which I got for my kids to drive after my son decided to rearrange the body panels on the Volvo they were driving. It has 24,000 on the odometer and is pretty much pristine (for now).
