Nitrous...
What do y'all know about nitrous on these cars? Reliability...and how well the drivetrain will hold up to it? I've come across a deal for a complete kit and seriously considering purchasing it. With drivetrain in mind, I was considering a progressor as well? What are y'all's thoughts?

As good as they respond to boost, I imagine they'll respond incredibly well to nitrous too.

Which is great for a track car taking a lot of driver error out of the equation.

I'm not worried about the motor as much as I'm worried about the tranny.

Check S197 forums, there are a few running juice over there that are going deep in the 10's with a 150 shot and basic bolt ons.

Just ask yourself the question, if your motors blows can you afford another one? If you can, then spray it. If you can't, don't. Get a good tune and a 75-100 shot and you should be fine. SHOULD be...

I kind of agree, but then again im a gearhead so I like working on the car too much to throw a bottle on just for some power, unless you have a built drag car that is only missing Nitrous haha
