Default Why do muffler deletes cost so much?

Seriously the price for muffler deletes are insane... Anyone know of any that are actually cheap?

If I still had my stock mufflers i would make some. Need the connector from the stock pipes and the tips. Just crazy that you can actually buy real mufflers for the price of some muffler deletes. No r&d needed for them either. Just make sure the pipes are bent correctly.

Actually the muffler deletes from Pypes are about the cheapest system you can get. That's what I have. The muffler delete I got for my C5 was over $800.00 lol so going from that to $300.00 was cake.

Pype Bombs is what I have too. Got mine off Ebay before they got popular, think I paid $200 delivered.

True but exhaust sells cars to dealerships lol. I figured it would hide the trans whine if they test drive it.

I paid $260 installed for my V6 and they ended up being quieter than the stockers. Maybe eventually they'll break in.

If it's strait pipe it will be louder. Or are you talking about the resonators? Strait pipe doesn't get broken in. On another subject why would you want a v6 to be louder? There are enough Hondas out there.

I'm running the magna flow comps(muffler delete) they're definitely a pretty penny but I love the way they sound.
