Default My new '14 GT/CS

I just joined this forum, but have been a mustang guy for a long time. I'm also on the other DFW mustang forum with the same user name. Today I traded in my '11 Silverado Z71 for a new GT/CS with a 6MT and 3.73's at Grapevine Ford and Skip cut me a hell of a deal! I also have a 92 coupe 5.0/5spd that's in the process of getting a 04 Cobra IRS installed in it, as well as a few motorcycles.

The new GT will be my DD so it won't get too many mods (likely lower and axle back), at least until I have the fox where I want it. That will get most of my money and attention for a while, but this car is soooooo nice I don't even care. Here's some pics I snapped when I got home, I'll get some nicer ones later.

And here's what my 92 looked like before I started on the IRS install. I'm likely gonna have to swap the wheels for some that'll fit the IRS.

Thanks!

Totally depends on what kind of racing we're talking about. Straight line, the GT/CS will smoke the fox... Not sure on curvy roads yet, that's pending the IRS being finished but ideally the Fox would be faster in the curves. But my ZX-10 should smoke either of them in any race.

Thanks! First mod will be driver mod... After that, I still won't mod the GT/CS till after I've got the Fox drivable and ready to roll. Then, the first mod will likely be either Axle-backs or cat delete (or both) and a tune.
