Default 2015

Well I've been Mustang less since Dec 2008 when I let my 99 drive off into Oklahoma.

I didn't miss having one that much until the 15's came out and wow they look amazing. I found one that I really like and I'm thinking of pulling the trigger but I just wanted some feedback from current 15 owners on how much they love their car and what they dont like about them. Any feedback is good.

Thanks!

I think the last couple of years of the S197 was were Ford hit the ceiling. I haven't seen the new one's up close yet. At first I was disappointed with the new design especially the rear. Looks kind of Europeany from behind. However, every time I see one I like it a little more. I'm going to hold off on buying one for three or four years and see how this new design evolves first. But that's just me.

It could also be that I am afraid to go to a lot and look at one up close mostly because I'll end up driving it which will lead to me buying it...

I love my 2015. It handles amazingly, interior is awesome. I have no real issues or complaints with the car. I can't wait to really start modding the car. C

I'm with Navag on the rear end looks...I'm hoping some after market tail lights will be offered in the future to replace the "stair" tail lights the 15's have...do not like them.

As for the car itself...from a modder I'm curious to see how much that IRS can handle before it snaps...nowhere near live axle I'm assuming.

That has been my fear as well. I have tried my best to avoid them from up close so that I am not temped to take one home. Well I'm afraid this time I failed and my garage is now full.

The more I look at the rear end the more I love it. Was not my fav at first but I must have gotten over it. The IRS is def going to be a set back at the strip but I want to take it to Cresson and that's where the IRS should shine! I can't count how many laps I've done there and I can't wait to get this one out there!

Looks sweet! Love that color. I pretty much decided that my next one will be blue.

I always loved everything except the performance and the front end looks. However, the front end has grown on me and I've seen some pictures of the Roush and Saleen cars and MAN they look schweet! As far as the performance, I'd hate to buy a 2015 knowing it's slower than the older car but, from a fun standpoint, it's hard to argue. No matter what, it will be a fun car to drive period. If I had the money though, I'd go for a 392 Challenger over the 2015 Mustang.

The "slower" is relative. With IRS and an extra 100 lbs it will be a hair slower in the 1/4 mile. But this may be the best road course mustang ever built. The boss was faster than an Audi R8 and the 2015 performance package is faster than the 302. I can't wait to take her to Cresson and takes some turns. Should be amazing.
