Default Low end??

Is there anything at all out that helps out with the low end on these cars? TB? Any other options on intake manifolds other than boss and cobra jet?

TB will be felt more in the top end.

Keep the stock intake manifold if you want better low end. The boss manifold is cool and all but most people don't see much in terms of gains and you Will lose lowend / tq.

I kind of want to keep it NA(as long as possible at least). What kind of changes do the full length headers make?

I haven't heard/read of many people changing the cams in these things, anyone have any input on that?

Cams won't help low end. If anything you might even lose more but you pick up a lot on the top end.

Why do you need help in the low end? You pulling a trailer?

The car just feels sluggish in the lower range, I've even had people drive it and say "it's weird when you hit xxx rpm it feels like the car turns on" it's almost annoying. I've had a few different tunes put on it, so I'm pretty sure it's not the tune. BUT I've never had it dyno tuned...

Have you had the car tuned? If not the "laziness" you are feeling is toque reduction set in the throttle body setting. Basically the throttle body opens much slower than when you actually apply the pedal. (this is tuned this way from ford)

Tune should help a bunch, Long tubes will help but are more for 2800rpm and above where they are going to shine.

Gears will also help stepping into a 3.55/3.73

Let me know if we can help

Clint Davis

Great post. I think a tune would alleviate alot of what is irking him. My car feels strong down low.
