Default Friendly fun runs - Any 5.0's want to race?

I'm looking for some 5.0's to race my V. My V is so different from my 5.0 due to the MUCH heavier weight in the V and different powerband it's hard to tell where I stand with the 5.0's.

Anyone down for some fun runs? No bench racing, no smack talk, just some fun runs for giggles. Roll, dig, doesn't matter. I'm open to whatever works best for ya. I may need a few runs too cuz I'm still learning how to drive this thing. This "tap tap" method of driving is just really weird. Haha.

LMAO @ the name change.

I came in here to make fun of the fact that you have to get use to an auto but I can't stop laughing at Grandpa

And driving the auto in this thing is trickier than you might think. At least from a roll.

You have to put it over into Sport mode, paddle downshift to the gear you want, hit it, slap it into Tour mode, then back into Sport mode all in a quick second so it can't slap the rev limiter. If you just mash the pedal and let the car downshift itself, it will eventually eat the transmission.

Does the V have a pretty weak tranny or something?
I get that constant 2-3 gear downshifts can reduce transmission life, but i would expect more from a 60K car.

Actually no, several have made well over 800rw just fine with it. It's just the violent torque they make instantly shocks the drivetrain pretty hard. Cruising in sixth and dropping it to 2nd or 3rd is pretty damn violent. I think Will made over 1000 with it and it never really "broke" just started slipping.

Manual valve body would solve this?
