You are both missing the point. You comment on every thread that unless it has some retarded amount of power it is slow. That makes you sound cocky. I know my patrol car is slow in a straight line but the majority of us can drive better on the street with traffic and turns because we are trained to do so, that's why you see cars with a lot more power having a hard time avoiding the police unless it's a bike or on a long stretch of hwy. I agree it's what your used to but to tell every one else their car is not fast because it only makes 600hp is retarded

Ok, well it's just a difference in opinion. I don't see how that makes me cocky, but okay. I don't get why some are so sensitive to this subject. My car is slow, I'm not hurt by it. It is what is. Even with boost making 600rw, you will never hear me say the car is fast, because it wont be compared to what else is out there to competitive with. That's just being realistic, not cocky. I don't see how I can be cocky on the losing side of the equation. Now, if I had a 1000rw car and came in here telling everyone they were slow, that would be completely different and very cocky.

My Father in Law is a retired Beaumont police officer who was an instructor at the Houston Persuit driving school..
The patrol cars are setup to stay close to people in traffic and around bussy streets. That being said the average idiot running from the cops is in a 98 civic or 95 caprice, so it's a lot easier to keep up..

IMO a 1000 hp Car would not be able to evade in a situation where heavy traffic was involved or doing stupid shit through a neighbor hood. it doesn't matter how much HP you have if you cant go anywhere..

that being said.. I don't think anyone here Evades police..

I could not agree more!! It seems that if you dont make a billion hp and do nothing but roll race, your car is considered slow and everyone sticks their nose in the air at you.

That is complete nonsense. I don't have a fast car and I know most of those guys and the majority of them are good people.

Where we are from 11's is a monster lol. 10's a god!! If I get beat after I finish my mods I'm not going to try and make it faster. Once I hit 500-550 on the juice I'm done.

So true. You get used to the power over time where no matter what it makes it starts to feel slower after awhile. By the time I sold my Cobra, it felt like a go-kart like I could just throw it around like a stock car.

And usually I would agree. I watched that link that was posted about a guy in a supra that kept chasing #'s and how he stated the car got less and less fun because it was broke all the time. I just feel like 500-550 is that happy medium for the tranny and motor. Plus I like drivin my turd.
