My Vette
People seem interested so I figured I would start a thread.
2006 z06
Livernois Built 427 cube LSX motor
Diamond Coated 9.7:1 pistons
Calles Ultra I-beam Rods
Calles Dragon Slayer Crank
Coated bearings throughout
Pat G spec'd cam
ECS Ysi Blower Kit
PRC 285cc LS7 heads with Titanium intake valves
Ported Fast 102 intake
Ported TB
ID1000 injectors
RSI Stage 3 fuel system
ECS Diff Brace
Dewitts Radiator
MGW Shifter
LG Super Pro Headers
Katech LS9R Clutch
Tick Master
Dallas Performance Direct Drive
LPE Oilcooler Setup
Alky Control Dual Nozzle Meth Kit
Tuned by myself
Etc etc etc
Everything done by myself besides the short block assembly. Has a bunch of interior work and other stuff to.
Best dyno pull has been 914 but fighting belt slip and other issues. Need to swap some pulleys and fix an oil leak, other than that runs great. Looking forward to some nice cruises and events.
Things to do, swap crank pulley, swap rear seal to fix oil leak, upgrade driveshaft, upgrade diff, upgrade tranny. More boost.

I'm Nick.
DRM shocks, CCW drag pack, 17x4" fronts, 17x12" rears with 315 ET streets. Switch to hoosiers once those wear out. Hooks up pretty well. 3.42 rear gears keep the gears long which helps.

Still needs a lot of drive train parts before I should be beating on it. The tranny and diff could explode any minute. Ugh. Might pulley down to ~750rwhp for a bit just to try to keep it together while I piece together the drivetrain.
Ran 11.1@129 up here with ~500rwhp. Should be a bit quicker now.

My Vette
I don't mind Chevy motors in Fords, but NEVER put a Chevy in a AC. They deserve a blown SCJ motor or a TT Coyote.

It was scary. It was a stalled auto, jaguar IRS, big cam. Made 420rwhp through the auto and was scary. He made 1 pass at the 1/4 and went 11.2@128 pedaling all over the place spinning and going sideways. That car was the most miserable car ever. We could drive it for 10 minutes before legs cramped up. He sold it to a doctor in Florida and is now building a LS based 408 with an 88mm turbo to go in a back halved 72 vega. Should run bottom 8s. Ran 9.1s with a 500hp v6, so a 1000+hp motor should be enough to go pretty quick. He is sad I'm moving because he needs me to tune it but ohh well, life must go one.
