I guess my question to that would be if motor mounts were put on to raise the engine a bit, would that throw off the pinion angle?

I am curious about this effect as well. Definitely needs some research before going this route i think.

Long tubes scraping
Thanks for the info I'm looking at ARH longtubes right now wondering if I'm going to scratch everywhere I go to. Eibach sportline kit with non adjustable shocks... Sexy look but PITA I am going to say what everyone told me man look Into adjustable struts and shocks that would give you a stiffer ride with less give that may give you a little clearance.

Not all headers scrape, my MBRP LT's stop at the frame rails so they never hit. I am on coil overs and keep my settings turned down on the street without an issue.

I don't scrape anywhere but my driveway, but that is one of the most important places for me NOT to scrape.

is it possible to back in? or do you get the same result? also yes, motor mounts are adjustable, steeda has some good ones. dont buy upr. also if you have an adjustable UCA, pinion angle shouldnt be an issue. or you can get a aftermarket driveshaft..lol

Get Steeda motor mounts, that's what Jeff runs.

While I wouldn't mind purchasing the Steeda motor mounts, they were designed to lower the motor for more clearance. They said I could raise it up with spacers, but they also said I could do that with the stock mounts. Additionally, I don't have an adjustable UCA, but I could also insert spacers in between the transmission and the mounts. This would get the pinion angle back close to stock. Last option is sell my suspension...lol

yeah, i have looked into the adjustable motor mounts but they only go down. I don't know if its in the cards for you, but running 20's would give you more clearance and fill the wheel well more if you did raise your coilovers a tad.

Running 20s won't help you would need a taller tire. Changing rim size don't change overall tire size unless you buy a taller tire. You can have a 19in rim with a 27in overall tire size and get a 20in rim with a 26.8in tire size.
