That's always been a problem with OHC engines compared to OHV designs. You can usually wind the OHCs up higher, but the OHVs produce the low end torque, especially in the big cube versions.

Long tubes are just going to accentuate the feeling. Honestly different gears and a tune are going to be your best bet. You already have 3.73s, maybe a 4.10?

Big cube version of anything makes tq.

I had 4.10's. got rid of them within 200 miles.

I have longtubes it picked up low end it's not just a "feeling"

Still prob has more peak hp and tq bu it was a hot and humid day.

Damn that 2.1 foot pounds of torque extra must shred those tires. How do you keep your tires from spinning in the rims. Did you borrow some of Steve's pop rivets to hold them in place.
