New to Dallas Area from California
I am sitting here with my laptop at True Street Motorsports getting my car tuned and was told about this site, so I figure I should introduce myself.
I just moved a month ago to McKinney from Irvine California, got a job here at Dell, so I relocated the family. So far I am pretty impressed with the Area and the people. Weather will take some getting used to, but it's not too bad.
I have been a car guy for a long time. I have had every type of car there is.
10 different Imports, 2 Camaro's, CTS-V, 911 turbo, 2 M3's and a few I have forgotten.
My current car is a 2013 Mustang GT 6 Speed.
Just few boltons for now, trying to keep it streetable.
Paxton 2200SL
JLT Intake
ID1000's
Boost a Pump
Did 580whp on 91 octane. Getting retuned right now as we speak for 93 octane. Hoping to hit low 600's.
Since I am new to the area, I'd love to hit up some local meets. Anything close to Mckinney that you guys organize?

Welcome man! Please don't get used to this current cold spell. You will be very disappointed in about a week.
Love to see some pics of your car too.
As for meets, there is a weekly Friday meet at 9 PM off Coit Rd and 190 President George Bush Turnpike in Plano. It's not too far from McKinney, so that is an option.
Also, Cars and Coffee is coming up this Saturday, so if you can make it out to that, it would be cool to meet a few of the guys that go. That takes place at Classic BMW at Spring Creek Parkway and Dallas North Tollway.

Nice to see another SoCal here. I am from many cities around the OC. These guys are OK, real car guys. I look forward to seeing your car at a meet. If you have nothing better to do on 7/4 around noon, go up to Whiteside in McKinney, not far from True Street. They are having a lunch time BBQ.

Here is my old car for comparison.
1998 BMW M3 with LS3 swap I spent a year building.
2900lbs loud and fast.
Here is a dyno video

Welcome, have a meet at Whiteside Customs on Thursday July 4th, from 11am to 2pm. Address is 2421 E. University Dr. Bldg 2112, McKinney TX. It's right down the street from True Street. The other meet that's not posted but a bunch of us go to is Cars n Coffee, that will be going on Saturday at 7am in Plano. It is at a BMW dealer on the northeast side of the Dallas North Tollway and Spring Creek Pkwy. You should definitely come out to that.
