Default 2011-2014 Performance 5.0 Catback Exhaust

Hi, I'm doing a research on the 2011-2014 5.0 catback exhaust for a company called Beluga Racing. Just want to see what kind of design do most of the members prefer. Straight pipes catback designs, or x-pipe with mufflers design? Please feel free to let me know, and your opinion will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I prefer an off road x pipe with a 3 inch catback exhaust like magnaflow's system. Otherwise, bassani axleback's with an off road pipe sound pretty good too.

Competition setup:

bassani setup:

you will need a tune for any off road mid pipe though.

I don't have a vid or sound clip of my car other than a road course video, but you can hear it if you come to a meet sometime. I have a full MBRP catted race exhaust, 1 7/8 headers, 3" H catted H pipe, and the race muffler. Sounds great, but its loud as hell.

There are already ~20 catback options for Mustang owners.

Does your company do anything new or innovative in regards to exhaust? If not, you're going to have a hard time getting your teeth into this market.

I agree, didn't really think about this, but out of those 20 or so there are already several really good sounding setups. I'd be surprised if people move away from those options since the 5.0 has been out a few years now.
